Spanish and blues along beaches out to 50 ft. Kings moving into local 550-70 ft areas soon. Grouper season is now open, being caught in the 40-50 mile range.

3 bluefin were hooked of shoals yesterday

Pogies have returned to our local beaches. This is a good sign, due to the possibility of cooling temps, and yellow butterflies, kings may soon be on the beaches. A few have been caught around local piers. Ocean Crest.and Apache are some examples.Reds are around local structures in the rivers. Trout can be caught around drop off areas around creek mouths. Trout and drum are biting around structure and drop offs. Fishermen are using white vudu shrimp and white /char gulp shrimp. Flounder are few in shore , but are thick at some of the nearshore reefs and ledges. Gulp shrimp on 2 0z jigs are working well.
